Wedding Story
In the middle of the nature of Brandenburg on Castle of Wartin in the rural region of Uckermark, Anna & Tommi gave their yes word on a beautiful golden autumn day. When I arrived by train in the villageCasekow, the landscape was still in a sea of fog. The taxi ride to the small tranquil town of Wartin was a picturesque start. The avenue was lined with old apple & pear trees. Anna got ready in the beautifully decorated bridal suite while Tommi waits for his future wife at the entrance to the registry office. In the rural idyll, the clocks run a little slower. And there’s a kiss before the actual wedding – so this boho wedding is not quite traditional. The location is a dream, a huge area with a farm, animals, a pond, an enchanted rose garden with old Buddha statues and in the middle of the restored mansion with the special furnishings, everywhere you look, shelves full of old books, Asian art and props from times gone by. After the wedding we went straight to the castle, as the autumn weather had predicted a rainy day. However, the sun should occasionally break the cloud cover during the day and create an atmospheric light for this autumn wedding. Before the dinner in the blue hour, there was a walk together in the neighboring village church of Wartin. A singing lesson in old hippie tradition by candlelight to the sound of the guitar sung by Tommi and his brother. And when all the people sang “Let it be” one of these magical moments of a successful wedding had come – an absolute goosebumps atmosphere for me.
